My career has been guided by a single, core belief: that the most impactful work happens at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity, combined with pragmatic decision-making. It’s a philosophy I’ve tested and proven, from launching my own companies to advising global brands. This journey has given me a unique perspective—one that bridges the gap between boardroom strategy and the on-the-ground reality of execution.

The Foundation in Industry 

My story as a consultant begins not in a boardroom, but in the heart of New Zealand's industrial sector. In 2014, I founded Industrial Procurement Services Ltd. The goal was to solve a fundamental business problem: providing a reliable, expert-driven procurement service for engineering and manufacturing companies that couldn't afford downtime. This venture wasn't just about supply chains; it was a masterclass in understanding the operational realities, client needs, and market dynamics of traditional, high-stakes B2B industries.

The Digital Leap

With a deep understanding of a core market, I took a deliberate leap into the digital realm. In late 2019, I launched two companies in parallel: Creative Sweet Ltd, a dedicated advertising and marketing agency, and Engineers Collective, a B2B and B2C e-commerce platform serving the very audience I knew so well. This wasn't a coincidence; it was the execution of an integrated strategy. I built the sales platform and its marketing engine simultaneously, leveraging a modern tech stack including Shopify, AWS, GCP, and Klaviyo to create a complete, self-sustaining digital ecosystem.   

The Corporate Proving Ground

Armed with practitioner-level knowledge, I applied my integrated approach on a larger scale at FCB New Zealand, part of the Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), one of the world’s top full-service advertising and marketing agencies. There, I advised major enterprise clients across New Zealand and Australia on unifying their data, technology, media, and creative strategies. My work has been recognised with industry honours, including projects that have won multiple Gold Beacon Awards and multiple IAB Digital Advertising Awards. My standing as an industry expert was also solidified by serving as a judge for the IAB Awards, which helped champion digital excellence nationwide.

Strategy at Enterprise Scale

Today, as a Partner at the high-end technology consultancy Team Circle, I bring this entire journey to bear for my clients. At a firm recognised by Salesforce as a 2024 APAC Partner of the Year, my focus is on the most complex challenges: large-scale digital transformation, AI and analytics strategy, and the seamless integration of enterprise-grade technologies. I help business leaders align their technology investments with their most critical business objectives, offering advice that's uniquely credible because it has been tested and proven in my own ventures and for my corporate and public sector clients.
